In a society obsessed with a sensationalism and tabloid mentality, Healing for an Unquiet Mind, is a tastefully personal yet practical account of one Christian woman’s recovery from depression and alcoholism. Ruth Keighley writes candidly in simple terms about the complexities and struggles her family encountered along her journey to healing, providing valuable insights and sound spiritual guidance for any adult reader. Because of the balanced biblical and psychological perspectives so transparently elucidated in this book, I especially recommend it to clients suffering from mental health and addiction issues.Dr. Terrance Goudy, Executive Director - Christian Counselling Service, Saskatoon, SK
Reading Ruth’s book has allowed me to appreciate her challenging past and her journey to healing in greater depth. I come away with a sense of awe and hope despite impossible circumstances because of her response to God’s ways, love and power. I highly recommend this book to all.Dr. C.Y. Wong, M.D.
